Geology & History: Yooperlite, first found in 2017,  is a unique type of crystal found in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, USA.  It is a form of fluorescent sodalite rich Syenite (a type of igneous rock) that glows, but only under UV light and does not simply glow in the dark..
