Turquoise (Mexican) Tumblestone

Mexican Turquoise is considered rare due to its limited availability and unique characteristics. The turquoise is renowned for its colour variations, ranging from bright sky blue to deep teal, but the most distinguishing features of Mexican turquoise is its matrix pattern. This matrix can include the presence of pyrite, which gives the stone a unique, shimmering appearance and delicate, web-like patterns to more pronounced inclusions.

Turquoise , with its beautiful green/blue hues, has been used since ancient times as a talisman for strength and courage and hope by warriors and kings but it is also a stone of protection, healing, success, and good fortune. It has a beautiful positive, healing energy.

Please be aware that much of the "turquoise" the market today is in fact dyed Howlite. Genuine Turquoise is only found in a handful of places worldwide and is becoming increasingly rare.
