Seraphinite, also known as Serafine and Serafinite, is an extremely rare gem variety of Clinochlore, a hydrous magnesium iron aluminum silicate. Seraphinite with its deep green colour and silver feathery patterns is a captivating mineral found primarily in Eastern Siberia, Russia. Russian mineralogist Nikolay Koksharov discovered this mineral in the 19th Century and it's believed that he named it after the group of angels in the Bible known as the “Seraphim” and is thus known as the Stone of Angels. Seraphinite offers protection, promotes an angelic connection, and brings healing, peace, and calm.
