This beautiful specimen is a piece of deep-earth history, having formed miles underground over millions of years. Unlike clear quartz that grows into sharp points, rose quartz crystallizes within massive subterranean magma pockets under immense heat and pressure, causing it to grow into large, solid formations. Its signature soft, milky-pink colour is entirely natural, created by microscopic mineral fibres that became permanently trapped inside the stone as it cooled. This dense network of fine internal fibres scatters the light, giving the boulder its famous hazy, glowing translucency.
