GEOLOGY & HISTORY: Pink Amethyst is a unique and rare variety of Amethyst that was recently (around 2017) discovered in Argentina. The pink colour comes from inclusions of Hematite and iron inside the quartz points and it ranges from pale lilac/pink to a deeper toned peachy/pink.
