Peruvian pink opal is considered a rare gemstone. It is a unique variety of common opal that lacks any colour-flash and is found almost exclusively in the high-altitude Andes mountains and the desert regions of Peru.  It is a great emotional healer and encourages the release of fear, worry or anxiety and helps dissipate stress, allowing you to be more centred and calm.
