Frosterley Marble Tumblestone
Frosterley Marble so named as it is found at Rogerley Quarry, Frosterley, Co Durham is in fact not a marble at all but a black limestone with stag horn coral fossil inclusions from the Carboniferous Period.
Also known as the Vatican Stone probably due to its popularity with Middle Ages masons in their work and most notably, the building of the Vatican. It is a protective stone, fostering inner peace, supporting continuity, patience and tolerance. It has a lovely spiritual energy.

**Please note, these are natural stones and each is unique but may have its own small imperfections such as inclusions, pits or markings within the crystal itself - this is part of their natural beauty and as nature intended they are not perfect. Tumbling these stones may polish off some of these imperfections but not always all of them.**
