Dragons Blood Jasper Tumblestone
Dragons Blood Jasper, often confused to Dragonstone (a completely different tumblestone), is considered a rare tumblestone that is primarily found in Western Australia. It is however not actually a jasper at all as it is a sedimentary rock and not a true Jasper, which is a silicate mineraI. It is a unique combination of Red Jasper and Green Fuchsite and is known for its colours and intricate patterns resembling dragons.
Legend has it that Dragons Blood Jasper is made of deceased dragons – the green is their skin, and the red is their blood and in ancient times, it was believed to have protective properties, and warriors would carry it into battle as a talisman for strength, courage and protection.
