Chrysoprase is the rarest and most valuable gemstone variety of chalcedony (a cryptocrystalline form of quartz). While most green gemstones (like emeralds) get their colour from chromium, Chrysoprase gets its signature "apple green" radiance from trace amounts of nickel silicates trapped within its microscopic crystal structure.

These stones formed over millions of years through geological weathering. As nickel-rich volcanic rocks broke down, silica-heavy groundwater seeped down into the natural cracks, cavities, and veins of the Earth, slowly solidifying into dense, waxy veins of green gemstone.

Chrysoprase can be found in small pockets worldwide, but the finest, most vividly saturated apple-green material comes from Australia (often referred to as "Australian Jade"), alongside notable deposits in Brazil, Madagascar, and Tanzania.

Chrysoprase is believed to foster emotional healing, openness, and trust, helping you let go of old patterns and see the world with fresh eyes. Known historically as a "Stone of Venus", it carries a bright, uplifting energy that promotes joy, optimism and peace of mind and is said to stimulate new life force energy and thus is a perfect stone for new beginnings.

Chakra: Heart & Solar Plexus
Birthsign: Libra

You will receive one handpicked, vibrant apple-green, rare Chrysoprase tumblestone measuring approx. 20-25mm.

Please be aware these are 100% natural, unenhanced stones. Some feature character-rich matrix inclusions of natural white quartz or earthy brown host rock, confirming their authentic origin.

Care Instructions: Because natural chrysoprase contains trace water and is sensitive to elements, its bright colour can fade if subjected to intense, prolonged heat or direct sunlight.

**Please Note: These are natural stones and each is unique but may have its own small imperfections such as inclusions, pits or markings within the crystal itself - this is part of their natural beauty and as nature intended. Tumbling these stones may polish off some of these imperfections but not always all of them.**
