Shape: Generators raise energy vibrations from earth to sky, and are 6 sided crystals which meet in the middle to form a near perfect point from which healing energy is emitted.

Metaphysical Properties: Caribbean Calcite is highly revered as a stone of deep peace, emotional healing, and spiritual awakening. Because it is a natural blend of blue calcite and aragonite, it combines the gentle, cooling energy of the ocean with a strong, grounding connection to the Earth.

Chakra: Third Eye & Throat
Birthsign: Cancer & Pisces

History: Caribbean Calcite is found in Pakistan but was given “Caribbean Calcite” as a trade name due to its resemblance to the clear, shallow waters and beaches of the Caribbean Ocean. Discovered in 2019 and exclusively mined in the Balochistan region of Pakistan, geologists classify Caribbean Calcite as a "one-time find." Because the specific environmental pockets required to fuse blue calcite and aragonite together are so limited, local mining operations are steadily depleting the original deposit and although currently abundant, within years that single Pakistani source will be completely mined out and Caribbean Calcite will be no more.

Geology: Caribbean Calcite is a polymorphic mineral combination composed of Blue Calcite and Aragonite, which share the same chemical formula but possess different internal atomic structures. Millions of years ago, calcium-rich shells from marine organisms settled onto an ancient sea floor to create thick sediment layers. Shifting tectonic plates eventually buried these layers deep underground, where geothermal heat transformed groundwater into a mineral-rich soup that dissolved the calcium carbonate and carried it through rock fractures and caves. As this solution cooled and underground pressures shifted over thousands of years, the minerals crystalized layer by layer: stable conditions produced trigonal Blue Calcite, while temperature or water fluctuations forced the atoms to rearrange into orthorhombic Aragonite, creating the stone's iconic blue, white, and brown bands. Finally, because the mineral solution sometimes drained away before the cavities were completely filled, crystal growth froze in time, leaving behind the beautiful, hollow "vugs" or druzy pockets found in specimens today.

Please Note: This generator point has been cut and carved from natural stone and any markings are not flaws but the nature of the stone itself and does not detract from its natural beauty or healing properties.
