Black obsidian doesn't have a crystalline structure but is a naturally occurring volcanic glass.  It is formed when felsic lava erupts from a volcano and cools so rapidly that crystal growth is inhibited, resulting in smooth, shiny, and reflective black volcanic glass.

This beautiful volcanic rock is known as a "stone of truth" and a spiritual bodyguard. It has protective, grounding and self reflection energies. As a Root Chakra stone is has grounding energies that offer a sense of security and stability whilst also acting as an energetic sponge, absorbing and clearing negative energy in all its forms.  Furthermore, it can act as a spiritual mirror, encouraging you to confront your hidden demons and limiting beliefs, encouraging personal growth.

You will receive the exact bowl in the photographs, the other items pictured are NOT included they are merely for decorative purposes.
