Alabandite Tumblestone - Sold as Seen - Alabandine - Very Rare Gemstone - Positive Energy

This listing is for one extremely rare Alabandite crystal tumbled stone which is sold as seen and measures approx. 1.6cms x 1.2cms x 0.8cms.

Alabandite aka Alabandine, is believed to be probably the world's rarest stone at this time and is a mineral composed of Manganese Sulphide and one that has a very limited existence and which is rarely tumbled. The few actual crystals that have been found are small, black and pyramid shaped, but these are mostly in private collections or specialist geological collections. Allegedly it has been estimated that currently there are only 8 kilos of Alabandite on the entire planet, making it very scarce, highly sought after and a prized possession amongst collectors. Its name is derived from its reported discovery in the 1700's at Alabanda Mines, Aidin, Turkey. Our current stock is from a new find from the Arusha region, Tanzania.

Alabandite's unique energy is believed by healers to have its own 'light' that it can pass on to people to 'light up' depressing or stressful situations. The light can refer to positive and pure energy that may offer insight, hope, and strength to bring balance and harmony into our lives.
