Set of Two Mini Amethyst Clusters - Calm Gemstone - Meditation - Crystal Decor

This listing for two mini specimens of natural Amethyst which are sold as seen. One cluster measures approx. 3cms x 2cms x 2.5cms and the other one measures approx. 4.3cms x 2cms x 1.5cms.

Amethyst is a relatively hard variety of crystalline quartz, that over millions of years has formed inside geodes or hollow cavities within ancient volcanic lava ranges. Gas bubbles trapped in cooling lava have created hollow cavities which have then filled with silica-rich fluids and trace iron. As these fluids cool, quartz crystals grow, and natural radiation alters the iron, giving amethyst its signature colour of purple. It comes however, in shades that vary from pale lilac to a deeper, vibrant violet colour depending on levels of trace iron inclusions and the irradiation activity.

Metaphysically Amethyst is believed to be a meditative stone that promotes calm, balance, and peace. It is also used to eliminate impatience and still the mind. Its is a remarkable stone of spirituality, contentment and protection.
