Isua Stone Tumblestone

Isua Stone has only been recently discovered and is one of the oldest minerals in existence dating back 3.8 billion years and offers us clues about the dawn of life itself. This metamorphic rock is found only in the Isua Greenstone Belt in southwestern Greenland and contains chemofossils, a chemical remnant, which indicates the presence of carbon-based lifeforms.
