The twelfth and final astrological sign in the zodiac calendar, ruled by the planet Neptune, which represents dreams and spirituality. Pisces is the Latin word for fish and the zodiac sign is represented by two fish associated with the ancient Greek myth of Aphrodite and Eros., who whilst out walking along the banks of the Euphrates River, were confronted by Typhon, a deadly giant serpent. They managed to escape with the help of Zeus, who turned them into fish, whereupon they jumped into the river and swam away to safety. Pisces is a Water sign.
