Brown Lava Tumblestone

Lava stones are formed when volcanoes erupt, much like obsidian stones and once this molten hot liquid cools and dries, it becomes a lava stone. Brown Lava stones have a higher abundance of iron oxide that is usually a rusty yellow-brown colour and when this mineral is exposed in the decomposing stone the exposed weathered surfaces gives the older flows their distinctive yellow-brown appearance. Lava stone is considered to be a stone of rebirth, as well as a stone of tranquility and calm, making it ideal for times of stress or new beginnings.
