Balinese Gamal Wood Molten Glass Vase

This stunning and unique, handcrafted vase is made from whitewashed Balinese Gamal Wood and recycled glass to create a one off piece of art.  The glass is hand-blown and while still hot it is then relaxed over a piece of Gamal root, the glass then hardens to the shape of the wood ensuring a perfect fit. It is crafted using only hand tools in the traditional Balinese way. 

This unique vase is a fusion of natural with man-made elements and brings the two worlds into perfect harmony.  Often used for house plants, flowers, floating candles, pot pourri etc. this vase has a myriad of uses but is equally as beautiful being allowed to just show the simplicity of its natural beauty. 

This bowl is sold as seen, the pictures show the different sides. Height on stand 22cms and overall width approx. 17cms.
