Menalite Opal is also known as the Goddess Stone or Fairy Stone due to its incredible spiritual vibrations and soft soothing energies, that are of greatest benefit to women and often promoted as being beneficial for fertility and pregnancy. Menalite Opal is an unusual mineral that is composed of calcium carbonate and clay. These odd shaped specimens are often formed over small pebbles or even fossils which give them their shape which is commonly called the "disc". They are normally a grey or off-white colour but can also have brown or tan markings. They are smooth to the touch and feel chalky and are quite porous. Our current stock is from North Africa.
