Cleavelandite is a rare healing crystal that is believed to support physical and emotional wellbeing and also spiritual growth. It is said to be helpful during times of transition and new beginnings as it can bring positive changes into one's life. Named in 1823 by Henry J. Brooke in honor of Parker Cleaveland who was a professor of geology and mineralogy at Bowdoin College in Maine from 1805-1858, Cleavelandite is a sodium aluminium silicate mineral, a variety of Albite.
